About
Many public venues -- train stations, airports, hospitals and schools, to name a few -- are equipped with wall clocks. It goes without saying that it's very important that the clocks all display the correct time and the same time. To this end, these so-called slave clocks are wired to a single master clock that sends electrical impulses to the slave clocks. These impulses drive an electro-mechanical movement inside the slave clock that advances the hands. The same impulses can also be used to drive a digital slave clock. Our WiFi Clock aims to do the same, but without the dedicated wiring, and if so desired, without the master clock. Thanks to WiFi, which is ubiquitous these days, the WiFi Clocks keep themselves perfectly synchronised with high-accurately time servers on the Internet.
