Problem: Difficulty faced by visuially impaired people to make debit transactions at POS without saying out the card PIN to the cashier as the POS systems provide no accessibility to them. None of the current cash transaction apps provide accessiblilty to the visually impaired population. Inspite of niche products such as Apple pay, android pay, touch ID there is still a huge gap when it comes to reality. Not many people could afford smartphones with touchID sensors Aim: Provide a user friendly, hassle-free & secure way of carrying out debit transactions at POS. Enable the visually impaired population to enjoy to advantages of the mobile payment or digital wallet services. Solution A minimalistic mobile app that seamlessly provides the functionality of a digital wallet to the visually impaired. An intuitive app that uses voice commands and braille pattern (on the phone covers) on the phone screen as the input. Providing a system that maintains a wallet for the merchant and the user. Each user would be identified via a cellphone number.
