We consider the heart as the core of our emotional life - despite knowing the brain does its part there too... when we jam, the music opens a gate to our subconsciousness and if we achieve a state of flow, it feels like our hearts are in sync. They amplify each other, calm each other, connect with each other in a primal way - stripped of all layers in between our hearts. We want to find out if this is just sentiment or if it can be backed up by science. So we measure the ECG of each musician, giving audible feedback of the heartrate - and observe.
