Empowering visually impaired people to become more independent while shopping by identifying the items in front of them using Machine Learning and checking if prices are reasonable using the Synchrony API's loyalty function. Machine Learning in Computer Vision and OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is used to identify the category of items and the actual text on packaging. In the final task the category and the text is combined to find the most likely product or it's product category.
