Drinking the correct amount of water is important for both health and performance. Technology is helping people consume water regularly during the day, but usually this is usually based on timers and alarms. With additional sensors (temperature, humidity, exercise via accelerometers and pedometers), we can create a more accurate picture of the water required by any one person during their day. This tech could be wrapped in a wearable device and linked to a smart water bottle which tracks actual consumption. Warnings could be set and emitted if the actual consumption deviates from the suggested by a given margin.
