This project demonstrates the use of the LinkIt Smart 7688 Duo as a brain for each room of a Smart Home, thanks to automation scripts interacting with various sensors, actuators and connected objects. The peripherals can be accessed through the integrated micro-controller or through the Linux OpenWRT system, using the GPIOs, Wifi or a Bluetooth Low Energy dongle. The video demo shows how the system can be setup, monitored and controlled either locally or from anywhere in the world, using a computer or a smartphone running a dashboard software.
