This team is looking for
Mission Objective: Build an app that can be used to calibrate sequence stratigraphic interpretations by tying events to absolute geologic time and to help interpret systems tracts. APP SHOULD DO: Import and display the interpreted baselevel curve (import ascii file with two columns: relative geologic time and base level variation. Sample curves from an open data project will be made available) Display the Haq sea-level curve (global sea-level variations versus absolute geologic time) in a user-defined time range that corresponds with the (expected, assumed, known) range of the interpreted interval. Compute and display a curve showing Milankovitch cycles (variations in eccentricity, axial tilt, and precession of the Earth's orbit) in the same time range.
