Create an innocuous site (say, for sharing recipes), which has a hidden back-end accessed via special passwords. One password takes you to standard, boring recipe site, another allows sharing of sensitive information, and a third may trigger a panic button. The information transfer would appear to be the simple upload of a recipe (for example), if one were to review your browser history or otherwise review your visits. The actual secure/reliable transmission would be handled by integrating technology from a project like Benetech's Martus system. Challenges: connection reliability (particularly for check-in or panic button functionality, integration with other software packages, creating credible cover sites.
