About
Scott Cook this morning explained a problem that we are all facing right now - that is yet to be solved. A bill is created in an accounting system, it is emailed to the client, printed out, someone types it in, a check is cut and posted, the payment is entered into the supplier side accounting system. Can we do business better? What if all your supplier bills automatically appeared in a simple dashboard. With a single click you can mark them to be paid on the due date, or when you choose. All details sync into your accounting system. On the due date autopay takes care of the payment and the payment details are synced both to you and your supplier accounting system. As a supplier, your clients can pay you in the same way. Simpler payment methods lead to faster payments, so your cash flow improves. promis.co builds a network that enables inter-company automation that benefits both parties. During the Hackathon we have built a pre-sales process that allows users to connect to QBO and invite a selection of their suppliers. In the next couple of weeks we'll complete the invoicing screen and functionality. The biggest challenge: building a network quickly to make it useful. So we are looking to partner with Intuit to promote an “inter-company” network to remove the pain of bill payments.
