Place Sub is an app that empowers users with insights and real-time updates about the space availability around their places of interests, allowing them to prioritize their time. On top of space occupancy live updates that users can subscribe to, the web app facilitates virtual queuing for spaces. Space owners can anticipate crowd size and make necessary preparation. They can also tailor and customize their service from the insights obtained about the occupant's demographics. We used Satori to publish data from the raspberry pi video, views (stream sql) to filter the data accordingly for the dashboard and the crowdsource map (according to type of spaces), and streambots to create the logic to process if the location is available and also for customers to join in the virtual queue.
