Payouka comes from a swahili word payuka which means to speak loudly. The app allows people in the community setup to express various issues affecting them that require fast response and a solution i.e corruption, environmental issues(garbage collection points through),security complains among others.The app is build on twitter fabric and uses the #payouka followed by a list of different sub #tags that is used to raise the problem i.e #payouka ,#environment or #payouka,#corruption.The App will help the government to respond to the problems and come up with long lasting solutions to the raised issues. In the future the app will be used to map the geographical locations of the communities in various cities and towns in africa and the rest of the world through geo coordinates.
