By leveraging blockchain and machine learning we have created the perfect tool to assist doctors who are prescribing opioids. Ohpioid takes in account the background of the patient (ie. income, location, age) plus the amount of opioids they've been prescribed in the past, which is housed on the blockchain, to calculated a risk factor through our machine learning model. The doctor is then given suggestions based on the risk factor about ways to mitigate the chance of addiction and overdose. Prescriptions can also be written on the platform and published to the blockchain. PII information is kept on Softheon Enterprise API so a patient's confidential data is kept that way.
