Nest.id is a point of safety for those displaced due to war, natural disasters or domestic abuse. Nest.id allows for the ability to add documentation (passports, birth certificates, etc) that may otherwise be lost when fleeing areas of danger or destroyed by disasters. It allows for funds to be securely deposited and for tracing and tracking family members that may have become separated when travelling across borders. With Nest.id, aid workers can help displaced family members find secure locations to withdraw funds that are desperately needed, we call these locations nests and all family members that have been approved can securely access these funds. Nest.id has the potential to reduce the loss of contact with loved ones who find themselves in refugee camps by tracing and tracking movements of the journey taken. The journey information also serves as the proof for potential asylum claims when displaced individuals eventually enter a country of safety. Nest.id is device agnostic, not requiring an initial setup by the fleeing or in need individual(s), with the ability of accounts being created by aid workers on the ground. Nest.id provides the possibility for those that have lost everything to have an identity without borders.
