Musica Latina is an app built to celebrate the diversity of Latina Music. The primary goal is to educate and engage youths about the music of their own cultural heritage. Artists, tracks, playlists and radio stations are aggregated (via youtube, spotify, 8tracks, tunein, soundcloud etc) and curated based on the music genre/user interest. Interactive user engagement is provided via featuring events such as dance lessons (via Meetup/Eventbrite) and integrating social media and blogs. One other objective is to provide a rich platform for up and coming Latin musicians to showcase their work and get discovered.
