About
Bara is a travel utility bot, which allows users to easily travel from point A to B, by providing detailed directions. It also allows users to "donate" to the fictional "bara foundation" (a philantropic organization) which is focused on crowd sourcing funds for road carnage victims. Great idea with a lot of potential. The basic use of this could be great and could easily scale into other markets. My only concern was the lack of focus. If it's a service platform to help people to get where they need to go, I would not mention the donation component at all and make that secondary. Focus on the functionality of this and how it will help people in their day-to-day. That's ultimately how it will succeed.

We are evaluating on going down that road, and perhaps the two might compliment each another in the future. Otherwise will pursue the two sub-solutions separately, should the market require that. Thanks for your deep thoughts on our pitch.

We are focused on improving the human experience as much as possible. While we might have some little, good ideas on this and that, we are hoping to hear your thoughts on monetization. Thanks for the encouragement.

We understand the different needs of our potential users, and we are hoping to satisfy them. Thanks for your kind words.

Nice work with the different APIs, maps, fb bot and mobile money. I do not get the connection between directions and donations. Why not move towards taxi payments (uber, africab, etc.) instead of, or in addition to, donations?

We agree that the donations as a critical feature of our solution might be ahead of its time. We are betting on the future where users of the solution will be part of improving the transport system (and social welfare ultimately). Thanks for your advice.
