The problem space you are tackling is very large. More thought into a specific type of user will be helpful to solidify the idea even more.

You have an opportunity for monetization by creating a platform for curation. In other words, trusted advisors could emerge on the platform that curate content. This seems like the OReilly learning paths thing, but more broad in scope. Think about broader metrics, including hiring rate in a job or publishing rate or things that would matter to folks in various paths. Keep working on this idea. It has promise but you need to meditate a bit on it.

Need clarity on how the product works. Also unclear how this can compete against Coursera or udacity etc.
