About
Designed to take advantage of the best optical pattern recognition engine in the world, our entry for IronHack 2015 (Free Enterprise - > Fe -> Iron. Pardon the pun.) utilizes the Quandl platform to access the FRED (Federal Reserve Economic Data) and the HavenOnDemand system's index query and sentiment analysis capabilities to gain a visual insight into patterns occurring over time throughout the US. Unemployment data, economic indicators*, job creation*, average wages*, work hours*, and more are evaluated and aggregated to deliver a colorful, easy to consume model of the US throughout recent history (currently ~15 years, further expansion depends on expanded datasets). Future expansion plans include extensive custom evaluation and comparison of data points we believe will provide insight into "Shadow Metrics", the numbers between the numbers, as it were, that can highlight more accurately the current state and potential future (Thanks to HavenOnDemand's Prediction APIs) of our nation, by market, location, and more. (* - Intended for future inclusion. Some datasets not available in this limited preview of this tool.)
