After three successful iterations, inGenius 2015 is back! Have a brilliant idea? Register now by submitting a short abstract about your hack! The best ideas get shortlisted & the teams hack it out on the 2nd & 3rd of October, 2015.

IDEAS AND JUDGING

  • Shortlisted teams are invited to the event based on their hack idea. Any change in idea must be conveyed to the organizers of the event immediately.

  • The decision of the judges during the judging phase is final.

  • Only the top ten teams, after the judging phase, will be invited on stage to present the idea.

  • Ideas must be novel. Plagarism will lead to immediate disqualification. All code written must be a sole creation of the team, and any libraries used must have a license that allows for re-use.

GENERAL

  • Consumption of alcohol will lead to immediate disqualification and the team will be asked to leave the premises immediately, irrespective of time.

  • Any proof of usage of drugs will lead to immediate disqualification and the team will be reported to the concerned authorities.

DRESS CODE

  • The event will take place on college premises and attendees are requested to follow the college dress code norms.

  • Attendees are required to wear pants at all times. Shorts are strictly not allowed. Shirts and T-shirts cannot contain inappropriate content on them.

OVERNIGHT STAY

  • Female participants are required to carry with them a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE (NoC), which will be sent before the event. The NoC must be signed by a parent/local guardian.

  • Those who do not have said certificate signed will have to leave the college premises before 6:00 PM on Day One of the event and can return the next morning.

BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS OTHER PARTICIPANTS

  • Be respectful. Confrontations, verbal or physical, between attendees are strictly prohibited.

  • Inapproriate behaviour between participants can lead to immediate disqualification of the team(s) the defaulters belong to.

  • Shaming of teams can lead to immediate disqualification.

BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ORGANIZERS & COLLEGE

  • The Organizers will try their best in providing an amazing experience. Attendees are requested to stay calm while we get things fixed.

  • Damaging of college property is strictly prohibited. College property includes, but not limited to, the following: desks and tables

    • bean bags
    • restrooms
    • A/V equipment such as Mics, projectors etc
    • Routers
