The Illinois Blockchain Initiative is collaborating with Fulcrum (by Axiom), a subsidiary of Axiom Technology Group, to host IBI Hack: the Illinois State virtual blockchain hackathon. IBI Hack is a month-long challenge open to students and recent graduates anywhere in the world. The Illinois Blockchain Initiative wants to invite industry leaders and students to work together to foster new innovations in e-identity, digitized government, and connected cities - concepts which the State of Illinois has been forwarding as part of its Smart State Initiative.
