You know how it's a real pain to be home for scheduled maintenance on an apartment you are renting? HyperCube create smart door locks that allow tenants and property owners to provide secure, temporary apartment access to contractors, technicians and guests. We achieve this with two-factor authentication using one-time passwords and BTLE device recognition, all managed through our mobile and web apps.

I have to admit I was confused here. There seemed to be confusion as to wether you are helping manage tradespeople for rental property or actually building a tech/hardware solution? You will need to focus on one or the other - look at some of the new "keyless" entry solutions for hotels as well as some of the tech for managing repairs for rentals. You could partner with one of those. Well done getting that demo built this weekend!

The market has potential but obviously reliant on smart door locks. The opportunity for the product to be misused is possibly high.

Too much focus on technology, not enough on business model. Significant hurdles around go to market (installation and customer acquisition) as well as security not mentioned. Lots of challenges to overcome to make this work.
