Hertz sponsored Hackathon at FGCU. This event is for Students at participating schools to get some exposure to Hertz and corporate problem solving.

Rules

Must be a student at a college or university to participate. Bring your student ID to registration. Hertz employees are not eligible to participate. Fresh Work - All work should star...

  1. Must be a student at a college or university to participate. Bring your student ID to registration. Hertz employees are not eligible to participate.

  2. Fresh Work - All work should start fresh once the challenges have been announced. To keep things fair, you will not be allowed to use previously created work to build on top of.

  3. Detailed Review - Winning teams will be subject to a more detailed review and/or code-review at some point following the event or immediately before winning.

  4. Ownership and IP - There is no ownership of IP created at this event. Hertz & the participating teams are free to use any ideas as they wish.

  5. Teams of up to 4 humans are allowed. If you do not have a full team, register anyway and we'll do our best to match you up with others who need a team!

  6. Submissions - Projects should be submitted on this website by the submission time.

  7. Presentation of your project - You must give a 5 minute presentation of your idea. Plan on 3 minutes for the presentation and 2 minutes from Q&A from the judges.
