Many universities today provide "Writing Centers" for students to meet with a tutor and get help with papers. Hemingway is an application that virtualizes that tutoring experience while maintaining the face to face feel. As we designed and built Hemingway we focused on two things, collaboration and simplicity. Hemingway allows tutors and students to both edit/critique documents in real time. And the best part? It's super simple to use! We utilized Context.IO for our entire backend, students simply email the document they need help with to a tutor and Hemingway does the rest.
