About

A Mobile App that allows users to create and respond to requests for help. If a user needs assistance of any kind, he/she can alert nearby users of the problem. Others can come to the rescue and earn Karma points (and tips via PayPal) for helping. Requests are prioritized by location, starred friends/groups, and urgency level. We also plan to utilize a karma leader board to encourage users to help each other. App uses Google Cloud Messaging and Google Maps API. --Inspired by our car breakdown in the middle of the free way, where we were in desperate need of a jumper cable.
