Currently only ~25% of restaurants offer delivery, but most would prefer to deliver if they didn't have to hire staff. No application or service currently exists for restaurant owners that allows them to offer automatic, "no click" delivery. Hello Delivery connects POS systems and transportation service providers such as Postmates and Shyp. The restaurant staff or customer simply places an order as usual, either though the POS app or the restaurant website. Hello Delivery identifies the order marked for delivery and places a transportation order with the delivery service provider. In this demo we use Square and Postmates as the POS and transportation provider. The market opportunity is huge. Consumers will spend $470B eating at restaurants this year, and nearly half of orders are for takeout or delivery. Restaurants adding delivery increase their gross sales by approximately 11%. No one has done this yet. GrubHub, Eat24, Munchery, and others either: 1) advertise restaurants that already deliver or 2) require restaurant owners to post a separate menu on the provider's page that requires manual updates. Best of all, this applies to any small business - not just restaurants!
