About this event

Hack for a Cause: Philippines is a 12-hour hackathon composed of individuals or teams of developers with the goal of helping create IT solutions in addressing pressing issues for Yolanda/Haiyan operations. By the end of the 12th hour, the solution must be ready to ship and will be launched for everyone's use. This hackathon is supported by Facebook, Rappler, DevCon, AGSX, and Exist.

    • 7pm: Opening from organizers and cause leads
    • 8pm: Team Lead Huddle: get aligned
    • 10pm: Team Lead Huddle: 1st progress report
  • Sunday
    • 12am: Product show and tell: get inspired, and midnight snack
    • 2am: Team Lead Huddle: Midway point – refine the MVP
    • 4am: Team Lead Huddle: Smash roadblocks and reallocate talent
    • 5am: QA
    • 6am: Ship and Demo.
