What:

Come spend a day with fellow techies, programmers, analysts, and entrepreneurs to design apps and other technology that uses data provided by government agencies and nonprofits in and around Hartford to solve community problems.

When:

Why so long?

The goal is to build a functioning app in just 7 hours. The day will open with presentations and brainstorming, then participants will break into groups to work on the project. At the end, we all come back together to see what we accomplished and head out for some networking.

Details:

This is a pilot event for future Hack Hartford programs. There are only 15 spots available for Jan. 17, with preference given to people willing to contribute their skills to the project of the day. Any other guest are also welcome to join us throughout the day.

Lunch and snacks, provided with support from the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, will be available throughout the day for participants.

Coffee is available to all guests throughout the day with support from Connecticut’s own Happy Life Coffee.
