This project is aimed at developing a Smart Card system which a “One card for all”. This card can be used for cashless transactions, in-out logs, and also doubles up as an ID card. The mode of communication chosen is RFID(Radio Frequency Identification), the reason being it is cheap and not only are they modern, these devices can save some data on them and don’t require any power source. In colleges, we can use this for cashless transactions in Food Court, Canteen and Cooperative Stores. These cards can be recharged as and when required in one location. The sellers can redeem cash from either the recharge centers or accounts on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. These can also help in maintaining logs for labs and library.
