About
Crushhh.es is an app for android that improves their experience by structuring the matching process around moments of attraction - “sparks” - that occur in our daily lives. Crushhh.es, unlike profile-based dating, reflects how attraction really works. Crushhh.es uses real-time location data to make matches. If I see someone at Starbucks I’m interested in, crushhh.es shows me blurred pictures of other users in that Starbucks who, based on profile information, match my sexual orientation. The location-based approach ensures that your crush is not lost under a mountain of other profiles and minimizes creepiness because users aren’t inundated with unwanted messages sent from afar. You can send an anonymous message to your crush by clicking the image that most resembles them. Message recipients can ignore the message, which blocks the sender from messaging them again, pressing the reply button to anonymously chat before deciding whether to meet, or press the meet button. Names and phone numbers are only shared after both users agree to meet.
