About

An app for the foodie inside every one of us. Gone are the days when all we want is a hot plate of Pav Bhaji but have to sift through the menu every other North Indian cuisine restaurant in the city . Unlike other restaurant based search applications, we provide exclusive dish-based searching which is our USP. 'Dishing out' leverages the powerful 'HP Idol on Demand OCR' API which uses menus scraped from hundred's of restaurants in Chennai to provide you with a powerful, reliable dish oriented search. We also provide you with location based analytics as to which location abundantly or scarcely serves a particular dish. Using our application can help you become the next big restaurant in town!

Good business problem. A valuable market opportunity. But crowded space, Will get early adopters but doubtful if they will be able to scale and existing players like Zomato can easily add this as a feature. Will need to develop a strong business case apart from just recommendations.
