BEATME aims to generate social interactions or encourage people to meet, according to the matching of their music tastes based on moods. This so called audio tinder can work as an app or a chatbot, where the user can describe its moods related to music, writing tags or liking suggested tags. Finally its profile will match with someone else's profile, or even a group of people. BEATME can be used during huge music festivals, events where there is already a target audience with similar music tastes. In a music festival all bands are already categorized. Through BEATME we can improve the database we use to define a genre, relating the genre with the experience of music listeners while there are hearing the music alive! Our idea is not to define genres or music styles as a fix word or concept (e.g. rap), but as a cluster or cloud of words and moods (e.g. shaky, music to cross a bridge, let´s jump). This audio tinder can be a friendly messenger platform that tells you where can you buy a beer without making a line, it can update you what occurred on the other side of the festival where you couldn’t go, it can send you tips to relax whenever you are overwhelmed by the festival, or, our main goal, it can encourage people to meet and interact, for example telling you whom from the crowd also thinks that the sky feels pink whenever the band X is on stage, sending you afterwards its geo location. The physical space where the festival takes place can become a playground where BEATME guides you to follow a challenge, find a treasure or any other activities that can create bonding between strangers that have something in common.
