BeachCandy is the first comprehensive app dedicated to one thing, getting you to the best beach wherever you may be. Launching initially with over 20 New York City and Long Island beaches, BeachCandy is the perfect companion for the upcoming summer season. Our aim is to continue to harness crowdsourcing data and other techniques to build a comprehensive directory of all the beaches in the East and West Coasts. Using powerful filters you are able to hone down quickly and enjoy beautiful images along the way. BeachCandy is the only app you need, there are over 25 data points for each location. From weather, to amenities, to fees and regulations, even if the beach is topless.

Social based on what you want your beach to have. Custom API and it's cohesive and realtime. It aggregates images and maps. I like the idea of the beach data being aggregated and admitting how some of it has to be manually curated. It's a simple straightforward business. Think about tracking the usage of it.
