About

AppSymphony can greatly assist the need of NGA users to simultaneously query multiple, disparate datasets each with their own data structure and then to deliver those results to any user interface/tool/destination of the user’s choice. The uniqueness of our platform is that it allows scalability for any part of the workflow as the native development platform and architecture of AppSymphony is AWS. Any component of the workflow or the entire workflow can be scaled in the cloud to whatever infrastructure is available for the user to access. This feature can greatly increase the speed of data retrieval and take true advantage of cloud scalability. AppSymphony is fully functioning and can be scaled inside private or government owned infrastructure as well. Workflows can be left to run unattended 24/7 for unlimited time periods, can be designed to wait and act on events and can tear their virtualization infrastructure down when finished.

Demonstration videos lacked audio, so unsure what exactly was going on. The workflow approach seems like an intuitive approach to contrcuting relationships and serving up a simple api (?) to view data, which if combined with Apigee or similar API management system, would make more data discoverable. However demo was not clear exactly what WAS being generated at the end. If it is what I am thinking, showcasing the power of taking non database sources and converting into databases with API would be very powerful and beneficial.
