The keys to AOU is the simplicity of the UI, the elegance of the user experience and the tight integration of multiple services and APIs. As soon as we heard about the secret API we immediately thought about what was missing in the already crowded marketplace of app offerings for planning London journeys...traffic - but not THAT traffic - HUMAN traffic. As Londoners we know our way around the city really well and rarely need to plan our journeys, but what we don't know is how busy the specific journeys are. We have created a way to measure traffic on the system so we can offer our users the most pleasant way from A to B. We then thought about how we could use MasterCards' APIs to plan a great night out. One gap in the market is splitting payments between people on a night out; sure you can go through a restaurant or bar bill and assign everything individually, but who wants to do that? Most of us just throw our credit card down and say "just split it between us all". All Of Us does exactly that in a seamless and elegant way. Pre-Dinner Martini's? £30 Eating Sushi at the trendy new Japanese restaurant? £50 Not arguing about the food bill and getting out and back home without having to fold yourself up like a paperclip to get on the tube?
