This product targets at people with visual impairment. The product assists them to function more productively and interact naturally with their environment. Although blind people are no less than us (they've even got a rad sense of hearing!), we want to make things a bit more awesome for them. This app will help them to walk around independently and know about their surroundings in real time. Braille's good, but you won't find public signs written in Braille! By providing an OCR algorithm , they can even read a sign/document which they want. They can also get the knowledge about their immediate surroundings. This happens through a series of Face and Object Detection algorithm which tells them the location of anything in their immediate vicinity. Not just this, there are also a series of sensors which collect the environment data in real-time and use Machine Learning algorithms to predict trajectories and optimum paths. The data is fed back to them in form of a speech output which narrates the surroundings to them. This entire product sits on a customized hardware akin to a smart glass (but not your regular boring smart glass) tailor made for them.
