ohShit is the fall-back API for the 911 phone line. During an emergency, upon calling 647-448, our communications API detects your current locations and asks you whether you need medical assistance, directions or extraction from a danger zone. This victim information is sent into our resources API, which contains a list of all the relevant resources for a catastrophe situation, organized by location. Our resource API provides a map with the victims location and their needs to any rescue teams available for assistance. In the future, we'd like to implement a system to manage the available rescue teams and provide them with routes to minimize the delay between request and assistance.
