About

Project Waco is an improvement on traditional government identification systems such as India's UIDAI system. It is a decentralized and autonomous ledger system intended to allow for improved distribution of welfare services in developing nations. Users provide a ration card with a proof of identity such as a QR code or a Biometric. The information is compared with a decentralized file on the Interplanetary File System (IPFS). I believe this project is promising, and creative in the problem it addresses. As development of this project continues, it will likely be a fairly successful Blockchain endeavor. Although this project may not yet be difficult, that could be a good thing as many recent ICO's have been far too lofty in terms of the goals they set.
