Care is a blockchain based solution, designed to enable the food service industry to donate excess food to the homeless. This broadly includes hotels, fast food restaurants, bakeries, school & corporate cafeterias, With $3.54 billion USD (13 billion AED) worth of food wasted in UAE alone every year, Care incentivizes the cutting down of food wastage and donation of excess food. It does so by enabling a smooth and effective implementation of tax credit schemes by the government. The system is designed to be fully automated, tracakble, accountable and tamper proof, removing existing bottlenecks in food donation by leveraging the use of technologies such as blockchain, IoT and autonomous vehicles.
