Difficult to implement qr's on product; unique SKU/ID per QR unit is hard to scale across millions of products. If executed, huge solution for counterfeit markets (i.e. Prada, etc.). Requires retail + manufacturer buy in.

It's an interesting idea, but why would counterfeiters being willing to put the bar code on their counterfeit products?
