BeSAFE is primarily meant for the people who are blind or visually impaired so that to provide them with security by signalizing the dangerous areas of their route when they are somewhere out of home. Beacons are placed on the perimeter of the dangerous zone or embedded in the fencing marks. Due to using the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons, which work with the Eddystone format, the user can get notifications of some kind of danger like bad footpaths, sleet, construction zone and so on.
