About

Using sentiment analysis of comments by borrowers and lenders as a metric of loan impact, I was able to train a machine learning model (a GLM) based on data from past microloans on Zidisha, an online microfinance platform. I then used that model to generate predicted impact scores for new loans currently seeking funding on Zidisha. This project uses the HavenOnDemand API for sentiment analysis. https://github.com/ozone96/zidisha_impact_analytics
