One good industry benchmark is learning platforms, including blackboard, desire to learn, moodle that helps teachers to grade students, and students can submit assignments online. they have a central software that can be customized for each individual primary, secondary schools, post secondary institutions that are offering completely different courses. Hi Adarsha and David, thanks so much for your feedback! We really appreciate it. We wish to sell our product to physicians for their clinics and hospitals for the ER rooms. There may be existing solutions in the market, however which are on the managerial side. We focus on empowering patients to prevent wasted time in a waiting room, which can result in benefits both for the patient and the clinic/hospital. Literature points to a negative impact of wait time on patients' perceptions of health care quality, satisfaction and likeability, patients' subsequent behavior, and likelihood of recommendations and repeat visits, which could negatively affect patient outcomes and physician’s revenue of their private clinic. Our app could prevent these effects of long wait times. Nearly one in five patients across Canada who went to an emergency room could have been treated elsewhere. By using our app and knowing when ER traffic is high, this may encourage people to go on days when traffic is lower, thus leveraging patient flow. If the final product contains all our planned features, it could better the health of millions of Canadian patients and our health care system. Thank you!
