There are several effective use cases we elucidated in our presentation. Gauging the sentiment based on certain keywords can help policy makers decide whether the policy they announced is being appreciated or not, and take decisions accordingly. This further propagates democracy. Another application would be to predict stock market movement based on invester sentiment and make money out of it. It can also be used as a general survey system to analyse what the public thinks and wants done. As for monetization, this can very effectively be sold as a paid API service or as a freemium service. Tools like these are going to be really big in the future...
