About
A mobile application for detecting counterfeit medicines. We will develop a mobile application with a database of intelligently generated 16 digit code corresponding to the medicine details like manufacturing date, expiry date and product company etc. Pharmaceutical companies will place this code on their medicines with scratch able strip like on Mobile calling cards. User will open the app enter the 16 digit code and the app will return a response either the product is counterfeit or original. Moreover we will also get the user location and will mark its location on map if he enters the code that had been used earlier. After all that we will make clusters of the users with respect to their areas, from where we will get already used codes. On performing data analytics we can identify the area where counterfeit medicines are being sold.
