nibl was created with the goal of a snacker haven in mind. This social media platform allows snackers to share both their guilty and healthy pleasures in a structured, efficient, and easy-to-use manner. With its simple interface, nibl allows users to exchange photos and recipes of their favorite foods, inspiring people to share their great ideas and continue creating new, delicious snacks for the world to enjoy. Our inspiration for nibl stems from the existing universal problem that people face - not being sure of what snack to eat. nibl uses Node.js, HTML, CSS, and Javascript to create an interactive and attractive crowdsourced snack platform in which other users can submit snack recipes and other favorite recipes, with higher favored recipes receiving more attention. We hope to extend nibl such that it can recommend snacks more precisely, by possibly incorporating additional parameters such as the weight and health conditions of the user to recommend snacks more well suited to the specific user.
