Used electronics like old or broken mobile phones computers,home appliances are one of the fastest growing sources of waste globally.In Kenya statistics estimate about 17000 tonnes of electronic waste are shipped every year and only a fraction of that gets to the recycling plant,the rest end up in dumpsites,rivers which has a very hazardious impact on the environment and health. E-waste is an android application addressing the growing electronic-waste menace in Kenya using innovative, out-of-the-box technological and sustainable solutions resulting in impact on environment and human health.
