The core intended solution solves for an opportunity in a way that's got room for improvement, much like Hipmunk for air travel. Adding the booking element will be a failure point because the restaurant backend isn't there. Expanding from restaurants to Net Promoter Scoring other experiences is a sweet opportunity.

Spoke more about future potential than what they built. Tested the bot online and the answer to a hiking question gave me results for japanese restaurants. Like that they used a new framework and attempted to build something very complex, but product was significantly less than MVP.

Due to lack of internet, the demo wasn't executed well. But I do like the idea and the execution. I find it a little bit odd it's web-based vs mobile, but it should still work. First chatbot team that has a good potential :)

Bots are definitely a new hot thing bit product looked very simple and not very functional.

It's an interesting way to find places to eat. But you may need to look deeper into how your recommendation is given.
