How do you learn a new natural language in 2016? At the moment, there are 2 main ways. The first is to look down into a textbook and try to learn that way, which just doesn't work. The second option is to pack up and move to another country which speaks the language you want to learn natively, which just isn't scalable. While the second option might sound great. Unfortunately, most people can't just pack up and move to a new country for 6 - 9 months. What is the piece that makes the second option so great? the ability to learn from conversations. This is what my application does. There are many companies out there that hire native speakers, people then subscribe to that service and launch a conversation with that trainer. My business model is different. The company pays no one, every subscriber to the service is both the trainer AND learner. It absolutely doesn't matter what language that other person knows natively, or what they are trying to learn. This conversation is carried along with the power of translation.
