About
A universal gesture-based language can provide basic communication when one doesn't speak the language. Gesture triggered translators help language learners 'bridge' the communication gap. We use Leap Motion hardware to track gestures, which are intuitively mapped to real-world conversations and tailored for specific contexts. Amazon Alexa/Ivona API service is used for Text-to-Speech support. Google Translate API is used for translation services of our multi-language user support. The backend intelligence engine is hosted on an AWS EC2 instance. Minimalist GUI ensures that communication is seamlessly carried over gesture and speech!
