We're building a consumer product and, ultimately, a local marketplace that connects buyers and suppliers of professional services. We've now built the first stage of a product that makes it effortless for consumers to broadcast the details of their needs and gather quotes from relevant service providers. This process is what we call 'microtendering'; our app provides a simple, structured environment in which consumers can readily engage with potential providers, collect as many quotes as possible, and make a more informed choice.
