The water is dripping from 5 bottles on 5 separate contact surfaces, which are soldered onto springs. The springs close a circuit each time the drops land, which transmits a MIDI note with the help of a Makey Makey routed into Ableton Live. It was a creative challenge to produce music based on off-tempo MIDI notes without velocity, pitch or note length from water drops. The result is non-tempo based ambient music, where all sounds are triggered by water. Great fun! :D!
